Wow! What a beautiful airplane he has constructed. I have no idea how many Corvair conversion airplanes are now in service. My count when Myunn was being built was around two dozen. I'm a bit reluctant to talk about Corvair engines on this site as at one time it was verboten and I know John is not a fan of this conversion at all.
That being said ... the combo is quite awesome and works well together. I have 160 hours on mine and I adore the way the air frame handles and the power and smoothness of the Corvair is unreal. The weight also helps correct the tail heaviness that is noticed when using a light engine on the nose. For those that haven't seen these ... here are a few links to my Cleanex:
