I'm trying to start wiring my Xenos068 with Aerovee. I was thinking about the feed wire coming off the master contacter coming through the firewall. A fuse on the firewall would protect against a short circuit but you've got no juice till you land and replace fuse. I was thinking an automotive type headlight circuit breaker might do well here. They self reset. They comein 15, 20 and 30 amp ratings. Thoughts?

I view the contactor as the circuit protection. Pilot smells smoke and turns off the master. Rather than using a master, I have a battery disconnect as described on page 2 and 3 of this thread:
