Trimming the wing fairings?

Hi ya'll,

So my wing to fuse fitting is going well! (Thanks to Bryan and Steve for advice and Bryan's loan of his wing bushings)

One question: Anyone have a super clever way to trim the intersection fairings? I figure I'd do that now while I have the wings and fuse in my driveway ;-). The best idea I can come up with is using a 2" (or whatever) block and sliding it with a sharpie along the wing and then going backwards from that line to mark the cut line on the fairing. However there must be something better ;-)

There is the "Thx Bob" picture on my thread. Or, you can go to the source and go to Bob Meyers's website, http://n982sx.com. I think it was a picture in an email I sent you too. There are two rows of rivets, and due to the miracle of CNC holes they are exactly a half inch apart. So, you make a tool that rides along the fuse with a sharpie hole 1/2" plus the desired gap away.
