UL260/350

Postby pfhoeycfi » Sat Aug 26, 2017 9:15 pm

Has anyone put a UL260 or 350 on a OneX? It looks like the 260 is approx the same weight as the Aerovee. I was looking at the Sonex website and it doesn't appear (or I just cant find it) that engine mounts are offered for hanging a UL on a OneX...but is offered for the B models. I haven't welded anything in 25 years...any thoughts?

Peter
There is a Onex in Texas that has a UL350 installed. It was at Oshkosh last year. The builder produced his own motor mount and cowling.

I've got the 260IS in my B-conversion. Hopefully first start in a couple weeks. First flight by end of September.
