Mike - I know you asked Jim; but in our sailplanes we regularly use O2 (at least, out here in the western states). The Mountain High pulse-demand systems are small, reliable, allow for lots of breathing time with smaller tanks, and are ultra simple to use.

The owner/founder also happens to fly at some of the Soaring events I organize, and he's a total stand-up guy.

BTW - I use the Mountain High Oxygen system with the constant flow regulator.

Nice video! I notice you tilted your panel back beneath the glareshield. How do you like it? I just cut my glareshield and I'm leaning towards keeping it 2" longer than stock, and then putting the panel 1" behind it (at the top) - so the panel will be a bit more vertical than plans and hopefully the glareshield can provide some shade...

It's all about the sun angles. For me, the sun would hit the EFIS and reflect back like a mirror with a lot of glare. By tilting the panel vertical there are no sun angles that can reflect towards to your eyes. I believe the new 'B" models have gone this way too.

Hi Jim, your videos are just beautiful; awesome scenery, well shot and edited.

Kevin, I built my Sonex with the standard 30 degree panel but if I were to do it again I would definitely make it vertical or maybe up to 10 degree tilt. I have exactly the problem with sun reflecting back off the Stratomaster screen that Jim mentions.
