Hi all,
I believe the owner of this sonex, Mr L. brandt, maybe able to answer some of your questions, i believe he posted a few days ago, on another thread, about building a B model now with a UL motor.

This quote says it all!
“The bad news is there was an airplane here that crashed,” he said. “The good news is the pilot is going to be fine and no one else on the ground was hurt.”

I thought that the 393 sounded familiar. Just checked and he was the first to have Sonex "B" completed and registered on the customer database. He converted it sometime this year I believe. Shame the plane is down but you've got to appreciate that the metal absorbed the brunt of the impact.

I believe this is the gentleman who did the podcast with us on the B-Model conversion. Glad to hear he didn't get hurt. The reason for the conversion was a damaged A-model.
