Tool loan program

Postby Bryan Cotton » Sun Nov 27, 2016 8:27 pm

All,
There is a thread of the same topic name for the Sonex foundation but I can't post there.

I have the tapered reamer for the mixer and am happy to send it on to the next person. Also, my wing rigging bushings (.3725" OD 1/4" ID) are available.

I am ready to ream mixer for taper pin and would like to borrow taper pin reamer, if that is still available.

Bill,
I'll look for it at the hangar tonight. PM me your address and I'll send it your way.

If not, I have one I can loan. Though I'm out of the country right now and can't loan it till June 1.

I've got it boxed and would have had it in the mail today, but the self service machine at the USPO died. I'll get it in the mail tomorrow.

Thank you Bryan. When the next builder needs it, you'll know where it is.

Mixer is reamed and taper pin installed. Ready to send taper pin reamer to the next user.

Do Bryan was kind enough to loan me the bushings he made for wing rigging. They worked great. I'm happy to forward them to the next person who needs them (and happy to take them back if that person doesn't want to handle loaning to the _next_ person). Send me a PM and I'll hook you up. ;-)

Just as a reminder to everyone, we have an informal tool loan program via the Sonex Builders and Pilots Foundation, in addition to this ongoing post.

Check out http://www.sonexfoundation.com/Tool_Loan_Program.php

Not sure who has the taper reamer right now. I used it on my controls and am very happy with the results.

Always good to see folks helping one another.
