We drove over ten hours to get here from Chicagoland, got a bit off course in rural Kentucky, and only had two days here - we are tired as can be.
It was worth every ounce of effort to do it. What a motivational, inspiring and fun event!
Chris Williams was kind enough to take me up in his Aerovee powered Sonex taildragger this evening - thanks Chris!
Great seeing Kip again, wonderful to meet Andy at last, and I met sp many others for the first time.
If you are building you must go! If you have a flying Sonex, you gotta go!
Kudos to the entire volunteer staff - I know how tough this is to pull off. Great job!
