Windscreen installation- how to dimple the fuselage skin

Hi
What should I use to dimple the fuselage skin for the windscreen side bolts? The plans call for the 3/16" holes in the fuselage to be dimpled. The windscreen lexan to be countersunk.

You don't have to use the countersunk screws,regular pan heads are fine. All the factory planes use the panheads. Dimpling that close to an edge it is hard to avoid a slight pucker. Looks better too.

If you choose to dimple as the plans call for, I simply used one of the machine screws and a countersunk backing block (wood) and a hard plastic/rubber mallet to deform the aluminum to the shape of the screw. The 100 deg countersink bit works fine on the lexan.
