For what it's worth, I would normally see numbers not far off from what you reported at 30" MAP. While flying around 3000' MSL, if I set the power at 30" MAP, I would normally see 3075 RPM, 350 F CHT's when leaned to around 1150 F EGT's, and I would get 135 mph indicated (summer) to 144 mph indicated (winter), all while burning 7.0-7.2 GPH. Temperature made a big difference in performance (my engine loves cold, dense air!) Not to say mine was set up correctly, but that's what I always saw! That was while turning a Prince P-Tip 54 X 50 prop.
At the same time, if I wanted to really cut the fuel burn, I could throttle back to 27-28" and lean things out a lot more. If I did that, fuel flow would drop considerably. I could run 27" MAP, 2850 RPM, and settle in around 120-125 mph indicated while burning 5.5-6 GPH.
