Also plan to use a pen or a stylus for it. I'm an average dude and trying to manipulate that thing with my fingers makes me feel like King Kong trying to thread a needle.

Here is my (almost) complete panel. All that is missing is ignition and starter switches, as I'm still waiting on the RevMaster to arrive. The goal was to keep it simple and clean. The MX1 controls the v16 radio and the TT22 transponder which are mounted under the seat. The iPad is running FlyQ and shows all the ADSB-in stuff as does the MX1. The ADSB-in comes from a Stratux which is also hardwired to the MX1. The Stratux has 3 antennas, GPS is center glare shield then two 'rubber duckies' on each outside of the glare shield. Picks up traffic easily while still in the hangar.
Engine switches will go below the USB charger and behind the iPad.
The panel is cut from heavy .080 6061 and is in three sections. I can easily remove the center section (5 screws) with the MX1 to gain access to the wiring on both the right and left sides.

Here’s my panel and very incomplete interior.

Flightline FL760 radio, GRT Mini, Garmin GTX-327, and a uAvionix Echo under the seats. Upper left is my LRI and a TinyTach so I can see the lift and power in the pattern without looking down.

I just realized I never posted a pic of my completed panel. It came out pretty clean, if I do say so myself!

Now I just need to fix the expensive g*dd%mn air compressor that broke down just as I got into painting my bird, so I can finish her up and get the first flight in this summer!

Do you have a controllable pitch prop or are you using blue for mixture?

Its mixture. Yeah, I know. its the one "non-standard" thing I've really done with the controls; but I got it on sale from ACS and its a nice push-button Vernier control so I can really fine-tune the fuel flow in cruise. And its not like someone's going to jump in the aircraft and _not_ figure out right quick that's the mixture control. :-)
