idler arm bushings

Started assembling the idler arm. Plans call for "paper shims".the plans list no part number. Was wondering do they really mean paper is to be used as shim material?

In my case it called for about five pieces of office paper.

then cowl, canopy, paint (photos): flush rivets, turbo aerovee, acro ailerons
(I built my RV7A and happily flew it for about 500 hrs)
