wingtip lights wiring

Postby 1labelloj » Mon Jan 09, 2017 6:55 pm

Researching builders photos for wingtip lighting I have only found pictures of wiring run through the forward ribs and then drill a hole through the spar (near the end) crossing to the rear to locate the wingtip light near the center of the wing tip.

I plan to locate my strobe controller under or behind the seat, so I was planning to run a conduit and wiring through the rear ribs.

Does anyone know a reason why this would not be a acceptable?

No reason, but you may need to punch another hole in the fuselage for access.
