Navworx proposed ad

Postby WaiexN143NM » Fri Oct 21, 2016 9:18 pm

Hi all,
Have you all read the article on www.avweb.com. On navworx and some of their adsb boxes. Click on the quick links in the article to take you to the faa docket and proposed nprm. We will wait for this to all shake out, but looks like we will have to send our navworx adsb box back to them for a swap out or change of internal gps to a certified unit. Anyone else have a navworx box?

I have a navworx in our Cessna and have been super happy with it. Was planning to fit the EXP version to the Sonex in due course.

It kinda sucks because I really like it as a device. We'll see where it goes.

... I want to add that the whole thing is just rubbish. If you are impacted and if you are not you might want to comment on the nprm.

I have submitted comment. It took about 5 minutes.

Even more disturbing (since they have $1,800 of mine) is that recent emails to the company have all been bounced back with "permanent errors!" Ominous!
