SNX-F03

Hi ya'll,

I have a question on the SNX-F03-02 rear spar carry through. The plans show one 1.5" hole which is centered 19 9/16" from the left. However my prepunched part from sonex has two holes, neither of which are centered at that location. Is this just a situation of the plans not quite matching current reality and I should just build on and one of these two holes will end up in the right place? ;-)

Also, the prepunched part has the two pilot holes which will eventually mate with the rear spar bolts drilled 1/4" rather than the 3/16" shown in the plans.

Hi Kevin

Check with tech support but I recall having a similar question. If memory serves me correctly the change is due to the lowered seat option, but I am probably wrong.

Yes, I dealt with the same question.. the hole in the rear spar carry through is already 1/4", not 3/16. So I drilled the rear spar up from the existing 3/16 to 1/4 before I started the wing rigging. Then when you rig the rear spar, you line up the 1/4 holes with a bolt (or other 1/4" pin) and transfer that hole location to the rear spar angle (I think that is the name of that piece).

It all works out fine, just read the procedure until you understand every step and what it's meant to accomplish, before starting the wing rigging.

One of the two larger holes you mentioned will line up with elevator push tube, so just build on as you say and it will work out.
