Gary, PM me so I can send a photo on a mod I had to make to my mount at the engine attach points on a non Sonex plane. Depending on who made your mount, it may not apply.

Am I correct in assuming that this bolts to the standard Rotax ring mount?

This would be the exactly opposite (but of course equally "correct" :D) tactic to what Bish (bishoff7, Sonex 1178) said he was building, in this post. Bish is apparently using a stock Aerovee mount, but replacing the Rotax ring mount.

Yes it bolts onto the Rotax ring mount.

Hi Guys Nice work on the mount
I have just posted some pics on my original idea of keeping the original aerovee mount and making an adaptor for the 912 it took a bit but fits neatly if you want to see

No cad just the old fashion way with pencil drawings and a wooden jig.

Congratulations looking nice !
Couple of questions if you don’t mind .
Did you have to modify the Standard cowling ?
Do you have a build log on your fwf ?
Thanks
Ben
