Today was exciting.
Sonex 1462 moved under her own power for the first time.
First taxi. All went well. The hydraulic brakes with the center ST controls worked great.

It is a great feeling to see it finally come to life.

Scott - I have a long list of little things to finish up. I need to finish my baffles and secure all my engine wiring. I need to install my ELT. I need to weigh it and do the weight and balance comps.

I have discussed finishing up and doing my inspection with a local DAR. I am shooting for the second half of February for my inspection.

Today I had my airworthiness inspection.
Sonex 1462, N462SX, Now has a Special Airworthiness Certificate!!

Next up, the first flight.
