Sounds like a fun trip. Have you had to add any oil? Right before my first 12 hour trip I re-used a cork gasket on the rocker cover and had a leak. It probably wouldn't have been as obvious on normal 1-2 hour flights.

The forecast for tomorrow looks great. You're making a great decision. Today's forecast still seems a little uncertain. In hindsight you might find you could have made it this morning or at least made it to Birmingham or Huntsville, but tomorrow looks great and it beats getting stranded at an unfamiliar airport with no services :-)

So far I have added oil. Less than 1/2 a quart. I wanted to go farther yesterday but I was tired and did not know if there was a place to stay. It was very interesting in Tucumcari but I will save that for later. The is for the support.

I made it. I am working on the trip report. Look for it in the SBPF newsletter. I will also post it here after that.
I will have some weekends off and am looking forward to meeting up for a breakfast or lunch. Thank you to everyone for the support.

Good to hear. Look forward to the report. Give us a heads up when you get a chance for lunch. Maybe we can do a $50 hamburger run as a group.

Maybe March 19 or 20. If the weather cooperates.
