AeroVee Camshaft

What type/brand of camshaft is used in the Aerovee and is it custom ground for aviation use or stock?
Thanks!

The Aerovee camshaft is specified by and sourced by Sonex. It is part of their proprietary engine kit. I respect their right to keep it proprietary knowledge. I would do the same thing if I were selling engine kits.

Since most every thing on the Aerovee comes from CB Performance I doubt that it is a special "aviation" cam. I'll bet it is one of these: http://www.cbperformance.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=160

I do not have an AeroVee myself so I cannot verify this but I have read on various forums that it is indeed the CB Performance "Eagle 2234" Camshaft (http://www.cbperformance.com/ProductDet ... tCode=2234) that is used on the AeroVee.
