That depends on what you mean by "a while". The engine parts are not packaged for long-term storage. So if you are buying now to assemble later, you should repack the engine parts accordingly.

Good point Joe;
Awhile for me would be at least a year in my basement! Is there a preferred procedure / technique for long term storage?
