As to problems with capacitive sensor, specifically the Princeton / GRT unit. Something effect other installations of this unit: Just recently found problems I had been having with mine were due to the control unit being mounted on side of fuselage under panel and subject to vibration. Relocated a few inches to space between two angles extending up from spar box. No more problems.
