Hi!

I am new to the forum and just wanted to say a quick "hello". And to say thanks for providing such a great resource for help and advise.

Last year I purchased a partially completed Sonex project. I am lucky that I am able to spend almost full time working on the project and I anticipate I will be ready to fly late this summer or early next fall.

I am a relatively low time pilot with ~200 hours. In anticipation of finishing my Sonex, I have received my tailwheel endorsement and am trying to build some tailwheel time.

I live about 45 minutes West of San Antonio. If anyone is in my area and would like to see my project, please don't hesitate to send a PM.

Jim,
Good to have you on the forum. I am in Houston myself, so If I am in the area, I may drop you a line. You are welcome to do the same, but I am not near along in my project as you are. My Empanage is complete, I am Working on the Spars right now, then fuselage.

Thanks for the welcome Mike and Vic!

Vic, feel free to come visit anytime. I have an awesome shop with plenty of space, but it is way out in the boonies, so I don't get many visitors.

Hey Jim,

You did an awesome job with the Sonex. I can't wait to be able to fly one of my own. You were very informative and the lower seat with the dual controls gave me some ideas. The panel in your Sonex was very interesting.
