True Air Speed

Postby nwyooper » Sat Jul 18, 2015 1:19 am

Just thought I'd share-155 mph true air speed at 5,600 ft msl and 3350 rpms. Pulled 2.5 g's-it will turn on a dime. Fun to fly!!

Obviously I won't be running that hard all the time. My engine seems real happy between cruising between 2900 to 3050 rpms.

0nex 74 100 hrs AeroVee getting 120.mph @ 3000 rpm, as you say engine seems to like that number. Could never get any reliable mixture reaction until close to shutoff on the aeroinjector, although the needle/slide system works well. Picked up a Rotec Mk 11 at Osh. Hope it works as good as it looks. How do you like yours?. Any installation suggestions?
