Personally, I thought the show looked pretty good! Sure, Bob wasn't pulling the same G's as one of the Extra 300's but I was impressed with the performance of the SubSonex.

It sure makes me wish I could afford one!

I cannot agree with a word of that.

A homebuilt jet, which has very few precedents and even fewer competitors, flying in the airshow and at night. Spectacular.

The routine was great, the sound of the jet was amazing, and the lights and fireworks really added to it.

Many of my non-Sonex (and some anti-EAB) friends were blown away by both the day and night performances. Every single comment I heard was positive - most of them also added they want one.

Sorry, I think you are being a lot harsh in your observations.

For me, I thought it was great. And, in light of the recent events, I was very pleased to see a conservative routine. It's a business, and if it were mine, I would be advising all my pilots to fly "extra safe" to ensure all customers and future customers that Sonex is not only an amazing aircraft, but a safe one as well.

For me, tangentially, the Onex flight on Monday was great. That little bugger was rocking down the strip!

Great job Sonex! I'm proud to be an owner.

I really enjoyed the SubSonex video! I wish that I could have been there in person.

I personally like the graceful aerobatics. The crazy gyrations some of the extreme acts put on give me a headache! My favorite performer is Julie Clark in her silver and blue T-34. She sure can fly!

I would certainly love to build a SubSonex! Maybe someday...

We certainly expect everything to be out of this world at Oshkosh don't we?
The Reality Check for the Sub Sonex Jet demonstration looks to me to be:
1. It's a well engineered and constructed personal jet
2. It's flown well or EAA wouldn't allow it, whatever the routine is
3. It's available to us all, Today!
4. We would all Love to fly it and most of us would stay straight and level!
I want one as bad as the next person but I'm still saving for either paint or polish for the Sonex I've got!
Happy Landings
