I got back from Oshkosh today - tired, sunburnt, and energized to finish my airplane!

Great seeing friends old and new.

Great pics, thanks Robbie! Nice job on the night airshow photography. Sorry I missed all the Sonex-centric events. I see Tim Stearns was there. I first saw his airplane at the restaurant in Janesville. Met him later at a pancake breakfast in Beloit. His airplane inspired me to build a polished Waiex. Until I got a close look my plan had been to finish my Hummelbird next.

I am guessing that is Bob's thing that holds the canopy open a crack on the ground.

That is Bob Mika's creative solution to keeping the canopy open for ventilation.

Bob - we would love to publish an article on this neat solution in the newsletter!
