Please provide more. I purchased an oil thermostatic bypass from Jegs and haven't installed yet. Its not a Thermostatis bit I did test it by dropping in hot water and it worked.

Hi john , thanks I didn't know any one else was making a product like those. I'll look up Jeg's . Basically dealing with this company thermostasis was a nightmare. It was an idiotic exercise in futility. The most idiotic phone conversations I've ever had. I'm still waiting for the owner to return my money order, has been 6 months. He was selling them for $199 plus shipping, only selling them thru jabiriu usa now. I don't care if they were free , I wouldn't put his product on my plane.

This is what I bought.

Of course, working with Jegs you get exactly what you ordered and PDQ too.

A friend has one on his Rotax 912 ELSA.

Hi John , looks good where are u going to mount it? The thermostasis unit was designed to replace the machined hockey puck under the oil filter.

That a why it isn't mounted yet, haven't figured out the bracket mount. And we got into summer so it's not needed. Sometime after OSH. There's a chap in England who also makes one for under the filter and Camit does too.

I have used Steve Rance's very nice compact TOCA that rep[laces the hockey puck, on both my Jabiru and now CAMit 3300 engines with no problems. CAMit now makes one of their own as well, but have not tried it.
