Time for an update. I followed the suggestion of tech support and ran my engine for a minute or two on the secondary ignition alone and my no 1 cylinder EGT was much cooler than the others. New plug, new wire, still cold. Switched positions of wires on the coil and no 3 was the cold cylinder. So, I have a bad coil. The lower half of the coil is not working. Ordered a new coil, and will have to wait a few days to continue. I'm not sure why it failed, it was working fine the last time I flew. It was relocated, but didn't drop it or damage it in any way. It has less than 60 hours of service time.

Sonex, told me the "old" green coils were known to not be good coils and suggested I replace both of mine which I did.

I finally found the reason for my rough running engine on the electronic ignition. I had the top trigger wires too close to the turbo exhaust stack and they chaffed and shorted. Even though I thought they were clear they obviously were not. check your trigger wires before you buy any new parts. $.50 worth of shrink tube is what did it for me. Runs smooth as silk now on just the electronic ignition.
