Perhaps the word "Forward" should be incorporated.

I like Version 4 of the four posted together. Just a plain yellow Sonex (a photo of a factory one would be best,) with the initials in large black font. However - I would like to put it on my Sonex, which is Sonex Yellow. Would this sticker be available in reversed colors?
Also - can anyone come up with a script "Flown in memory of . . .?"

That's the idea Josh! Try it without the circle and see how you like it, just the vertical fin etc...

I understand Glenn's idea but there's no Sonex reference. And, I generally associate Thumb's Up with a positive accomplishment, even though the picture we associate Jeremy with, displays it prominently.

Memorial sticker

Postby Sonex1517 » Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:10 pm

Maybe we should do this in several ways. The foundation can neither cover nor ship a large order. At best we can order, but shipping? Not practical.

If we offered multiple designs, with all agreeing the proceeds went to the family's designated charity, that would spread the workload out and make this more of a community effort.

It will not be possible to please everyone with a single design. And there is no way I can commit to shipping all of them.

What do you all think we should do here?

(For the record the factory seemed to like a Sonex silhouette)

What about using a site like cafepress? There is no upfront cost and you can upload a few designs that people can pick and choose from to order. It won't be the cheapest way to buy a sticker but it keeps the foundation from having to outlay any money and allows people to choose the design and size sticker they want.

From CafePress - a clear background with sticker concept #4 from the Foundation

Only challenge I see is we would need to make a generic log on and let everyone order their own....if that works. I have no experience with this site.

And for the record I believe this defeats the purpose of raising money for a charity or the family - the web site makes money.

I agree with Robbie. This has two purposes, for us to honor them and raise some funds for charity.
I suggest farming the work to a local Oshkosh family owned sign shop. Pay them a market rate. The foundation puts a hefty markup on it and all proceeds go to a charity the families have designated. I think Jeremy would approve of that.

Design by committee is never easy! Two more options for the mix... Yellow for Sonex. "Forward", and clearly a memorial graphic.
