I plan to be at Oshkosh this year and will be arriving on Wednesday evening. I don't think I will be there is time for the party. Darn. My Waiex will not be ready to fly up so will be using the slow method. Driving. See you all there.

I can not even tell you how bad I wish I was in Oshkosh right now! Work and family commitments prevent me from attending this year. Next year for sure, even if I have to walk there from Atlanta!

Enjoy the aviation homecoming!

I hope everyone who traveled to Oshkosh this year has a great time and is able to get home safely! AirVenture 2015 was certainly an excellent show and I counted at least 22 Sonexes there through yesterday with the opportunity of more showing up this weekend.

I'm sure a complete end of show report will be written up soon, but I was hoping that the pilots who flew into the show could report in to let us know they made it home safely.

I ended up leaving just after 0700 local this morning and was home by 1300 local. I'm pleased to report the turbo AeroVee ran perfectly the entire trip which ended up being around 9 hours flight time total. I plan on writing up a complete report on the engine performance for the next Foundation newsletter.

Thank you everyone for a great show!
