Party at AirVenture Wednesday July 22nd, 2015

Hey all you Sonex builders, pilots, and enthusiasts

At our member meeting last July, the idea was raised of a party at Oshkosh AirVenture 2015. We are planning an event but it must have member support in order to succeed.

We are lucky to have Wayne Daniels as a host for this event, and are planning this as a member-driven event.

This is something we need assistance with and have begun working on the logistics of getting people to the other side of the airport and back.

The party will be an informal BYOB burgers and brats affair at Wayne's 7th Heaven over on the east side of Wittman Field. The date is set as Wednesday July 22nd, 2015.

The night airshow is a highlight of the week, and we can enjoy it from the perspective of Wayne's backyard. Our plan is to keep costs to a minimum, hopefully around $5 a head.

If you can attend, please do - an RSVP helps us plan transportation and food! We have some members who will have cars and are going to shuttle folks back and forth. Don't let the fact that you do not have a car at AirVenture keep you from joining other builders and enthusiasts at this barbeque!
