If you go with the gascolator, just make sure you mount it as low and as far away from the exhaust as you can. Ensure that your fuel lines stay 2 inches or more from the exhaust. Use firesleeve on the fuel lines and then insulate them with something like the Thermo-Tec reflective insulating wrap (this is not just the silver tape, but the silver, tectured one that has some insulation in it too. Try to shield and insulate the gascolator and put a small fresh air blast tube blowing on the gascolator. Make sure there are no high spots in your fuel lines that can collect fuel vapors.

The burps are no fun. They will scare the hell out of you. Do what you can to eliminate the possibility of them occuring. Sonex has put out some good guidance on how to avoid them.
