I'm finally making progress again. I got my replacement upper crosstie hand-fit and now my fuselage is exactly the 32" specified in the plans (it was previously off a little over 1/16"). I thought I'd have to re-make the firewall attach brackets along the sides, but it turns out the change was small enough it still fits, which is nice. So after a couple of weeks of very little progress, Sonex #1416 is once again moving forward. :D
