Here is another question for you guys. I was mounting my brake cyclinder on a scrap piece of square tube, just to get the holes located. See picture- I have no edge distance for the AN5 bolts. Anybody else see this?

My -11 angles from the hydraulic brake drawing are 2.5" stock as called out in the plans.

Thanks Bryan,

That was about what I thought I would do. I have tri gear and am not sure just where to bring them down through the floor. I guess you would bring them back over the spar tunnel and then down beside the seat. I can't find any directions.

You certainly don't want to go over the spar tunnel. You need to go through the tunnel at the lower outboard corners, then through the bottom skin and down the gear legs.

Bryan, Here are pictures of my master cylinder mounts. I followed the plans with the brake kit. Mine seems OK. I am not sure why yours would be different.

What is the bracket behind your master cylinder for? Have I missed something?

Pete, Here are some pictures of how I ran the brake lines.
I ran them basically the way the drawing for the center sport trainer controls show for the mechanical brake cable.
Through the lower corner of the spar tunnel. Then through the floor by the gear attachment. Down the gear leg.

Thanks for the pictures. I see now on the sport trainer controls that they trace the brake cable out that way. A picture is worth a 1000 words.
I never thought about it going under the spar at the bottom of the tunnel.

Hey guys,
When I locate the master cylinder at the specified location, I get a crazy angle for the brake handle:

If I sneak it aft as far as possible, the angle looks a lot more like the side controls:

I am having a hard time seeing the disadvantage of the second option. Any thoughts?
