Sonex 612 (N115DM) First Flight!

Postby rkurian » Sat Apr 11, 2015 11:30 am

After 11 1/2 years of part time building, 2 moves and 2 job changes, plans built Sonex 612 with AeroVee took to the air today at 7:40 CDT. It was all I could hope for. Slight tweeking needed, but nothing major. Oh what a feeling!!

Big Congratulations! I can attest and confirm what you have gone through as a scratchbuilder and can only imagine your feeling at first flight. I am looking forward to hearing and seeing more about it!

If there aren't any pictures, then it didn't happen... ;) Seriously, congratulations on your perseverance as much as your first flight!
