First flight Waiex

Postby WaiexN143NM » Mon Mar 09, 2015 12:42 pm

Hi all,
Just a quick note to tell the sonex family my father and I flew our WaiexN143NM on Jan 16th at 3pm at Ryan Field Tucson AZ. Everything went well the plane flew straight and true. Building took 4 yrs during the winter here. We have the Jab 3300 , Dynon glass, Rotec tbi. Flying phase 1. We look forward to lots of fun trips with the plane. To you all still building, keep at it!!! (I'm trying to figure out how to upload pics to share) Thanks to the Sonex staff, dynon tech support, Lonnie Prince, Juan at KRYN at Southwest Avionics , and many more who helped in some way. Michael and Norman RADTKE.

WOW! Great paint!
Taildragger Waiex in progress, tail done, wings done, about to mate wings to fuse,
then cowl, canopy, paint (photos): flush rivets, turbo aerovee, acro ailerons
(I built my RV7A and happily flew it for about 500 hrs)
