N90YX for sale...any insights?

Postby jjbardell » Thu Mar 05, 2015 10:17 am

Does anyone have any insights they are willing to share on N90YX that is for sale on barnstormers.
Considering a trip to NC to see it but thought the experts would probably know a lot more than me.

Thanks all.

Looks nicely equipped. I would ask the empty weight and see if that works for you.

It is loaded up for sure, which is what I am looking for.
EFIS, 2-axis autopilot, nav, strobes, radio/xpndr w mode c, tail dragger, etc.
He even has the removable 6 gal tank located behind the rear seat which feeds into the main tank.

Empty weight isn't too much of an issue for me as I am 175 and my fiance is 105.

You couldn't build one for that price and that doesn't include your time.
Unfortunately, it seems like that's the going price for a well equipped Sonex/Waiex. I wish it were more.
