For those of you who subscribe to Sport Aviation, be ready for January's issue. One of the feature articles covers our very own Kip Laurie and his beautiful Waiex, N111YX!
This excellent article covers Kip as well as his adventures where he has flown the Waiex to all the lower 48 states. A great article covering a great guy!
Congratulations Kip!!! I can't wait to hear about your next adventure!

Thanks, guys. I wish that the article would have been more about some of my adventures rather than about me and the build but Budd is a great writer and he knows what people really want...;)

Congrats! It's a beautiful bird. I was Youtube stalking you the other day and it's just made me wish I had more time to beat on my plane. Look forward to the article. Hope to see N111YX again soon. Funny how actually owing a Sonex and wrenching on it with my own hands has given me a whole perspective on the subtle things each builder does to his aircraft.
Here are couple more from the photo shoot that should have been included in my opinion. Sorry if they are not centered. I've not used Photobucket in 10 years!
