Prince P Tip

Postby Major4567 » Thu Dec 18, 2014 9:10 pm

I am considering the Prince P Tip prop. I have heard very good things about these props.

Does anyone have personal experience with the difference between the Sensenich and P Tip on the 3300?

Here you go.

I loaned my P-tip to Jeff Schultz who did some testing between his Sense and it and came away saying the P-tip was better in climb and cruise. And it just looks cool.
Flying with Jeff and others with the Sense, I always need to pull back throttle to match their speed. Just saying.

Dale,
In defense of Sensenich too. I have one of their props hanging above my fireplace. Its a beautiful piece of work.

Can you estimate the difference in speed between the two props in cruise?

I did not fly behind both props, but Jeff Schultz did. He just mentioned to me its faster but didn't give me hard numbers. If I see him this weekend, I'll see if he recorded them.

Point of clarification, all Prince props are wood too, just some are covered in beautiful carbon fiber to keep the wood dry for your after landing camp fire.
