I got the same email Brett! I'm very excited as well. I believe the first group of shipments are going out now as well as more next week.

Can't wait!

You and me both Bryan! I'm excited for the guys getting the turbo upgrades. Sadly my wife could not see the benefit of me spending another $4k right now on my project, so I went ahead and ordered the straight exhaust and a prince p-tip prop to complete my build (normally aspirated).

When you guys get your deliveries can you comment on whether they were complete or had backorder parts? My full aerovee+turbo kit had several back ordered parts (including some turbo exhaust parts).

Rynoth

A quick glance at the photos you posted shows the exhaust system and it looked complete (tubing wise) . What appears to be missing are two intake tubes that run across the top from the center piece to the intake manifold on the head…… But will definitely let you know if any parts missing or backordered. (I do kinda doubt any parts will be backordered as the reason for the delay in shipping was because they were waiting for all parts to arrive).

Aerovee Turbo Kit

Just did the inventory on mine and it appears to be complete.

Part T05-37 hides against the side of the box. Easy to miss.

Great news! Now the question becomes ... With all of these turbos being shipped (great news on all parts being in the box) which one will be the first customer Turbovee to fly?

Curious,

Dale,

I'm not trying to place any pressure on him, but my money is on Mike Farley. Why? His Waiex is already flying and I know that his engine is in the process of tear down right now in anticipation of the Turbo arrival.

We shall see, there may be others out there who are in the shadows and not posting here that are further along?

I wish Scott! I've got a few parts still on backorder including new heads for my AeroVee. I'm not sure how long it will take to get all the remaining parts, but hopefully soon!

Until I get said parts, I'm still sort of at a standstill. I also know I'm not the only one who has a flying airplane so we will see! I may the one of the first few, but I'm not sure about being the actual first customer to fly.

We will see...
