I couldn't use the backing plates as they were delivered. When I aligned the 3 holes (brake caliper, backing plate, tab on axle), the wheel pants were pointed nose-DOWN, even when my tail wheel was planted on the ground. I had to swap the right and left plates and drill my own holes. Obviously that was not your experience, Jim. I'm wondering if anyone else had the same issue I did.
I aligned the wheel pants after I mounted the backing plates. The plates do angle down compared to the wheel pants. I attached the outer screw of the wheel pant first and then aligned the wheel pant to my desired location before drilling the inside holes using the alignment tool shown in my video. Jim
Same issue I had the backing plates do angle down , I used the holes with nut plates and made new holes in the wheel pants to line up , and used a thin fender washer too , my wheel pants have seen better days , too , Adam Simmons ,
