PTT wires Solder vs crimp

Postby Gripdana » Fri Sep 26, 2014 10:01 pm

Any thoughts? I need to extend the wires I put molex plugs on the switch leads and now need to connect the wires to the MGL harness which is a couple of feet short. Is it better to solder, butt splice, or use molex connectors there also.

I soldered mine and sealed with shrink tube since I hoped I wouldn't have to disturb the connection for a while.
