Permanent Oil Filter
Posted: Sat Nov 05, 2022 12:27 amI was reading the thread "quest for the elusive "Dry AeroVee" and recent discussion turned to oil filters. This made me think of an article in KitPlanes (kitplanes.com/a-permanent-solution-oil-filter/) that I recently read. Not wanting to hijack the Dry AeroVee thread I though I'd start a new one here. It's about the K&P permanent filter. Has anyone tried it? Cost wise it can't compete with the cheap paper filters but there does seem to be some advantages. Out of curiosity I purchased one. Takes about 3 seconds to open it up and remove the filter.
