Can anyone tell me the make and model # of the tach sender for use on a Jab or CAMit engine? I thought mine would come with one but I was wrong.

The Camit tach sensor was designed by Brian Anderson of New Zealand. It uses a small hall effect ic and some components.
I built one and use it on my Jab. Camit put it in a nice alum package and used them on their engines. I doubt they are
available now. If you want to make one, I can dig up the schematic and send it to you. -or- you could use a Honeywell gear
tooth sensor #32315204. It has been used successfully on a 3300 Jab by a Zenith builder named John Austin.

Thanks Rick. I'll give the Honeywell sensor a go.
