Here is what I found when I removed the Oil Cooler.


The oil cooler is rated for 150 psi.
Have you inspectex the oil pump? If the clearances between the cover plate and the gears gets excessive the pump will lose pressure as the oil thins and it seeps past the gears.
No, I have not. That will be next.
32psi is actually pretty good at 2500 rpm.
I agree, but it just keeps dropping. I'll keep a close eye and just shut down and let it cool when it drops below 20 psi.
What I think I'll do first, is get back to where I was before I got over zealous with the relief valve. The only issue I have left, that the test engine can help with, is investigating/verifying the input signal conditioning circuit for the alternator input. That won't require extended runs. I can fully investigate and fix this problem at a later date.
