Hey everyone. Hope you’re all doing well and 2023 is treating you good. Question? I recently purchased the cooling baffles from sonex for the Jabiru 2200 and put it together. Fits well but I’d like to paint it and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on the type of heat resistant paint to use.
Thanks in advance.
Mark

I used rustoleum high temp grey for furnace & BBQ. So far so good....

I would not think you'd need high temp paint, as the baffles should only see cooling air, but if you must, a quick maroon scotchbrite rub, a solvent wipe, and any locally available rattlecan high temp paint should do it. High Temp paint works best WITHOUT an underlying primer.
