installing rotec tbi on jabiru 3300

In trying to resolve some extremely rich and rough running on my jab 3300 I am going to replace my aeroinjector after never really being happy with it. The rotec tbi just came in today and I am trying to figure out a way to hopefully use the left hand sonex throttle quadrant with the rotec tbi. My issue is the part the throttle attaches to comes out of the top of the tbi in the form of a 1/4" round post that moves up and down raising the slide. It is not an internal cable attached directly to the slide like the aeroinjector is. It appears I will need to manufacture a way to attach the push pull cable to the carb some how. If any of you guys running the rotec could take a pic I would sure appreaciate it. Or describe how it is put together. There is an old thread from 2015 that is what I am looking for and evidently it had pics at one point but no longer are accessible.
