The Water Cooled Heads from Rotec are back in service after a lot of rework over sized guides where fitted oil leaks fixed I hope, hrs will tell.
I done all the work local to my specs and it was done right I would not let Rotec touch them as I can now fly with conferdance as I now the work was done properly. As I said in my other post If you have them remove and get them checked professionally Its just luck I am here to wright this post things could have turned out a lot worse if those loose guides had droped out. Cheers Allycol
Up date on LCHeads oil leaks removed the LCHeads 2 times due to oil leaks have just rechecked after 4 hrs num 2 heads is leaking oil I dont know
where to go from here the only cause is the heads are porous. I have never been able to stop heads from leaking oil just slow the leaking down.

Are you ever going to tell us who you are? What you fly? Where you are located? Or any discernible information?

Just asking.

Steve- does it matter?

The rest of us flying with the LCH´s are really happy with them. No issues, no problems, no leakage- and most important no more head bolt retorque!

I have been away as I lost my password had to reregister. I own a j160 jab from australia the LCH done about 230 hrs I decided to overhaul engine. thats when I found the extra problems. I have removed the LCHeads as the heads are made of soft alloy  the lower head bolt squashes the hole so I have to unscrew the bolt all the way instead of just the thread. The heads are removed and aircooled back on. All those jab engine owners who have them on wait till you have done 2-300 hrs and then check them good luck.

I have re installed aircooled heads I had no problems before with aircooled heads it just the way you fly your jab. I see a sonex 2200 jab engine turbo I allso see he has used copper piping,I had a big problem with electrolysis when i turned the key on with a volt meter positive in coolant and negative to earth it would read a current not good as I also used copper piping. As I have said good luck all you guys with LCH on your jabs.
