Jabiru 3300 for sale

Does anyone know if a 2008 jabiru 3300A would be compatible with the sonex exhaust? I remember reading a post a numer of years ago about a guy buying one then finding out his required a special manifold that was no longer made.

As far as I know, they have not made a flat flange exhaust since serial number 500 or so ( a long time ago). Otherwise they should fit to the best of my knowledge.

2008 would be the approx. vintage of mine which fit fine, but beware of potential problems with those hydraulic lifters.

Well, hopefully the buyer does the right thing and has it torn down and magnafluxed, as it had a prop strike. Jabiru told me this would need to be done. This and performing service bulletins would be at least $5000 if no parts needed to be replaced.

So the buyer would be in for close to $15K in addition to shipping/travel and other logistical hassles.

Unless he decided to roll the dice....
