Pulling the engine to check the flywheel

Andrew, the heads of the bolts would touch those areas but I was still able to remove and replace them without moving the engine. Have you given it the good college try or are you only thinking that it just won't work? I know that initially I thought the same but perservance paid off.

So your bolts didn't hit the frame or the filler box? Well, I wish that was me!

I had to cut down one of my allen wrenches and make 1/8 turns but I eventually got it out. The filler box was the problem. I couldn't pull the bolt out but I could pull it far enough to clear the accessory case and eventually rotated the whole assembly to get the spider out. I think I would've had to pull the engine if the box was a 1/4 inch closer.
