Turbo First Start

Today I did my first start of my Aerovee Turbo. The engine was originally built as a standard Aerovee by the previous builder of my project.
I had oil pressure at 104 psi, and a rough idle. I fixed the idle quickly as I had the aerocarb needle way to far out and therefore was running rich.
On a side note the engine seems happier Idling just a little over 1000 RPM, it just wants to stumble in the 900's.
The oil pressure was fixed when I checked my MGL. I had it set up as a 10bar pressure sender, it's clearly stamped 0-5 bar on the casing. So my peak pressure was actually 52psi.
I find the rpm range on the low end very sensitive. The slightest movement of the throttle and the engine jumps right to 1400rpm.
I was only getting 37" MAP on the test run. So I ordered the light blue spring, as I believe that is the culprit.
Otherwise everything is running great. Looking forward to the next start with the new spring.
